🔹 Weeks 1–4: Foundation Phase

Focus: Body movement, basic ball control, agility

Agility

  • Ladder drills (1 & 2 feet)

  • Diamond drill / cones

  • Sprinting / running technique  

  • Sports movements

Soccer

  • Dribbling with both feet

  • Basic passing / receiving in pairs

  • First-touch control / right & left foot

  • Small 4v4 games

🔹 Weeks 5–8: Technical Growth

Focus: Coordination, dribbling under pressure, short passing

Agility

  • Lateral movement with cones

  • Shuttle runs 

  • Partner mirror drills

Soccer

  • Dribbling relays

  • Passing in triangles

  • 1v1 attacking/defending drills

  • Positional discipline in SSGs

🔹 Weeks 9–12: Ball Mastery & Movement

Focus: Playing with head up, quicker feet, spatial awareness

Agility

  • Quick drills 

  • Sprint + backpedal + change direction

  • Jump and land balance drills

Soccer

  • First-touch under pressure

  • Give-and-go passing drills

  • Overlapping runs & support play

  • 4v4 or 5v5 transition games

🔹 Weeks 13–16: Tactical Overview 

Focus: Game IQ, decision-making, combining skills

Agility

  • Plyometric drills

  • Shielding drill

  • Acceleration / Deceleration drills

Soccer

  • Possession games (rondos 4v1, 5v2)

  • Crossing and finishing 

  • Defending in pairs

  • 4v4 & 5v5 with coaching focus on positional roles

🔹 Weeks 17–20: Integration, Game Play & Awareness

Focus: Match simulation, combining all elements

Agility

  • 5 position cone drills 

  • Obstacle courses

  • Agility + ball decision drill (e.g., react and shoot/pass)

Soccer

  • Game situations (3v2, 2v3)

  • Set piece basics

  • 4v4 or 5v5 possession emphasis games
